The intensive care unit and neonatal intensive care (ORIT) arranged in the composition of the Perinatal center of GBUZ RM "Mordovia Republican Central clinical hospital" and its structural unit.
The Department has been functioning since may 2011.
Office is located on the fourth floor of the Perinatal center.
In ORAN is providing emergency medical care to infants born in GBUZ RM "Mordovia Republican Central clinical hospital" and transferred from regions of the Republic. The activities of the intensive care unit and neonatal intensive care are regulated by corresponding normative documents, local regulations, and orders of the institution.
The Department deployed 12 beds for joint stay of mother and child.
The main task of ICU is:
- To reduce perinatal morbidity and mortality by: providing highly qualified high-tech medical care to newborns requiring the maintenance of vital functions and intensive therapy, including patients with surgical pathology in the preoperative period.
- The care of children with VLBW and ELBW.
- The provision of medical qualified medical aid at the stage of pretransport preparation and transportation of the newborns from regions of the Republic.
- Anesthesia for surgical operations newborn in the conditions of the separation
- Of ensuring sanitary and anti-epidemic. events at the present level and prevention of hospital infections; >Carrying out of sanitary-educational work with mothers and relatives of newborns and providing emotional support to parents of sick children.
- Providing practical, educational-methodical aid doctors neonatologists and anesthesiologists-resuscitators areas.
