Head of the Department of Allergology and Immunology - Baisheva Marina Gennadievna, doctor of the highest qualification category, chief specialist in allergology and Immunology of the Ministry of Health of the RM

The allergological department was founded in April 1976 on the basis of the MRKB to provide specialized allergological care to residents of the Republic of Mordovia for 20 beds. In December 1985, it was expanded to 60 beds and is intended for emergency and scheduled round-the-clock hospitalization for examination and treatment of patients with respiratory diseases and allergodermatoses, as well as emergency care for patients with acute allergies and anti-rabies care with a burdened allergic history. Since May 2014. the department has 30 beds. The Department of Allergology and Immunology is the only one in the republic providing specialized assistance to both urban and rural residents. The department is located on the 5th floor of the therapeutic building and occupies one wing.

The staff of the Allergology department

The main directions in the provision of medical care:

• provision of planned and urgent care to patients with respiratory diseases and allergodermatoses;
• vaccination of patients with a burdened allergic history;
• provision of diagnostic, therapeutic and preventive care to patients with allergic diseases and diseases associated with immunodeficiency;
• lifelong replacement therapy with immunoglobulins in patients with primary immunodeficiency (octagam, gamimun, intrathect, gabriglobin)
• carrying out specific allergological and immunological diagnostics and differential diagnostics with other diseases;
• development and implementation of measures to improve and introduce new methods of diagnosis, treatment and prevention of allergic diseases;
• implementation and maintenance of training programs for patients to prevent allergic diseases;
• participation in the process of professional development of the staff of a medical and preventive institution on diagnostics and medical care in the field of allergology and immunology;
• conducting sanitary and educational work with patients;
• allergen-specific immune therapy with causally significant allergens;
• provision of advisory assistance to doctors of other departments of the hospital in matters of prevention, diagnosis and treatment of allergic diseases;
• provision of emergency specialized assistance in the field of disaster medicine;
• maintaining accounting and reporting documentation, providing reports on activities in accordance with the established procedure, collecting data for registers, maintaining required by law.
• introduction of new diagnostic and therapeutic methods and techniques.

• allergological examination with allergens;
• tests with medications to detect drug allergies
• chest X-ray examination, computed tomography;
• endoscopic examinations;
• Ultrasound of internal organs;
• ECG, ECHO-CS;
• Spirography, bronchodilator tests, bronchoconstrictor tests

Hospitalization to the department is carried out in an emergency and planned manner.
